why hello there! my name is sylvia, and i'm a 2nd gen chinese-american artist/illustrator currently based in chicago, usa.
i draw a lot of inspiration from nature (with some existential undertones), animals (lotta frogs, bunnies, cats, dogs, n more), enjoy personifying daily items, and cozy-fying mundane situations!
i started CXN ART since i had a deep love for bullet journaling (currently on hold), hand-drawing art, & i wanted to illustrate and design paper products that i could not find!
the name CXN ART is inspired by my chinese name 陈馨妮 (pronounced Chen-Xin-Ni), which translates to “warm individual.” i create art with the intention to warm people's heart, and i hope that translates no matter what language you speak ♡
